Overview of Micro Aspherical lens
The micro aspherical lens is a lens with a special radius of curvature, and its surface shape changes continuously from the center to the edge. Different from the traditional spherical lens, the surface curvature of the aspherical lens is changed, which can correct aberrations more effectively, thus improving the imaging quality. This allows them to focus light better, reducing aberration and distortion. The design and manufacturing process of micro aspherical lenses is complex, but their unique properties give them significant advantages in optical systems.
Features of Micro Aspherical lens
High Precision, Higher Image Quality: Micro aspherical optical elements typically require very high manufacturing precision to ensure their
optical performance. They can focus light based on the position and angle of incidence, thereby improving image clarity and resolution.
In contrast, spherical lenses are prone to aberrations at the edges and off-axis areas, leading to blurred or distorted images.
Smaller Size, Lighter Weight: These elements are very small in size, making them suitable for micro-optical systems such as smartphone
cameras, micro projectors, and medical endoscopes.
Complex Design and Manufacturing: Due to the aspherical design, the surface shape of these elements is more complex than traditional
spherical lenses, requiring advanced manufacturing techniques.
Elimination of Chromatic Aberration: By optimizing the curvature and thickness distribution of the lens, micro aspherical lenses can reduce
or eliminate chromatic aberration. Traditional spherical lenses, due to their spherical shape, find it difficult to eliminate chromatic aberration,
whereas micro aspherical lenses can better focus the different color components of light at the focal point.

Applications of Micro Aspherical lens
Optical Instruments
Micro aspherical lenses are widely used in telescopes, microscopes, and optical measurement instruments.
They can enhance image quality and measurement accuracy by reducing spherical aberration, coma, astigmatism, and distortion.
Laser Systems
In fields such as laser beam shaping, image transmission, and laser marking, micro aspherical lenses can alter the focal length,
focusing performance, and spot shape of laser beams to meet various application requirements.
Medical Devices
Micro aspherical lenses are also used in medical devices such as endoscopes and microscopes.
